Really looking forward to playing the Dubs at Celtic Park on Paddy's weekend, with a big Derry crowd expected and being at home I think we could pull off a shock result.

Outside bet could be Derry for league title
.

Don't think it would be a shock if Derry beat Dublin in Celtic park. Derry going well Dublin looking sluggish.

Cant see Derry winning league though. Fancy Cork to win league

The rule is a joke I can't believe they couldn't get this right , nothing at all against Andy Moran just those who couldn't get the rules right. Sure everyone is going to jersey pull now and the diving is going to be embarrassing. Really disappointed in Eugene McGee and his cronies for not getting it right.

If Derry beat Cork on sunday they have every chance of challenging for the league title in my opinion.

Even if Derry do not beat Cork this Sunday, they still have every chance of challenging for the league. In my opinion, I think Cork will win on Sunday but this by no means would put Derry out of it. I have to admit that I would have predicted Derry to be relegated. I think I might have been wrong there.

The first 3 are interesting games. It'll be interesting to see how championship preparation is going for all.

Dublin much too strong for a second rate Kildare team. Dubs by 8pts
Cork are a serious team and will easily overcome Derry by 8pts
Kerry with home advantage will pip Tyrone by 1pt.
Mayo to win by a distance against Westmeath who are way out of their league. Mayo by 10pts

Dublin v Kildare: the Kildare that ran Tyrone ragged for 68 or 69 minutes might just shade it
Cork v Derry: Cork at home taken to halt Derry's great start
Kerry v Tyrone: Tyrone to have a wee bit too much for a Kerry side very much on the ropes but red hand fans will be living on their nerves again
Westmeath v Mayo: Mayo to win by any amount, Div 1 just a step too far for Westmeath

I couldn't say whose gonna win the league, but Westmeath and Kildare are most definitely doomed. Westmeath , god love them are not fit for the division and are barely a second tier team. Kildare flatter to deceive but have never had enough quality in their ranks. They set up naively and remind me of Galway who think they're a footballing side like Tyrone or Kerry but just don't have the personnel. They would be better served playing strategically.

See the Donegal heads all going for Kildsre this week - They really don't rate us Dubs at all!!! Would love to meet them later in the championship but not much chance of that as I fancy Tyrone to end Jimmy's reign after giving them a right hiding in Ulster this year!! Maybe we can put them out of their misery if they manage to make it through the qualifiers!! Fingers crossed.

Anyway back to the matter in hand:

Dublin v Kildare.........DUBLIN
Cork v Derry.............CORK
Kerry v Tyrone...........DRAW
Westmeath v Mayo.........MAYO

And in Div 2 the mighty Donegal to beat whoever they are playing.

Kildare are far from doomed even if we lose tonight. The key game will be against Kerry in Newbridge next Sunday.

Jesus fingalman, it's a sad state of affairs when you get grief for making an honest assessment of how you see a game going.

Kildare were very good against Tyrone last weekend & stupidity lost it for them wheras Dublin just look a bit flat at the moment. Now if this was the first round of the championship I would go for Dublin every time but I think Kildare are in with a good shout this weekend. I might be wrong but sure that is the fun of HS.
