Kildare are far from doomed even if we lose tonight. The key game will be against Kerry in Newbridge next Sunday.

I doubt ye're doomed either way. Divisions 1 & 2 provide competitive games in preparation for championship.

See the Donegal heads all going for Kildsre this week - They really don't rate us Dubs at all!!! Would love to meet them later in the championship but not much chance of that as I fancy Tyrone to end Jimmy's reign after giving them a right hiding in Ulster this year!! Maybe we can put them out of their misery if they manage to make it through the qualifiers!! Fingers crossed.

I'd say Donegal are more worried about playing Derry this year.

Ulster counties should have an advantage going into the All-Ireland series having been battle hardened in their provincial championship. I can never understand how people think games against division 4 opposition sets them up for the championship.

So if Tyrone lost against Monaghan in the preliminary round this year they have an advantage over Cork and Kerry? Kerry are practically guaranteed to get to the quarter-finals and can prepare accordingly. I like the Ulster championship and wouldn't change it but it's an odd system in a way.

The Ulster Championship is excellent if you actually manage to win it, but a preliminary loss ( eg. If Tyrone lose against Down this year ) still leaves you in a dark place facing a long difficult road to the All Ireland series.

Gary, you are 100 right. A win tomorrow should just about guarantee promotion & then all thoughts turn to our neighbours who are going very well at the moment.

I would like to see Paddy McGrath back, his recovery is slow, & Neil Gallagher is well off the pace. But apart from that everything is going well. Fingers crossed.

Kildare a little unlucky to lose by 10, didn't deserve that but Dublin were far sharper up front.

Ah, I forgot Tyrone were playing Down instead of Monaghan, I was being a bit premature.

Same problems in the backs. The FB line were Ok but none of the runners were being picked up, on another day we could have conceded 3 or 4. Midfield were in and out of the game. Forward line was very good.

Yes Kildare missed a number of good goal chances hit the post four times? i'd say the right score should have been a 3 or 4 win for Dublin.

In the game I saw Pundit; the Dubs missed as many goal chances as Kildare!
McManamin was outstanding in another whitewash for the Dubs!

Mr Pundit would you stop yes Kildare had goal chances but so did Dublin , ten points was exactly right we were way ahead of Kildare tonight. Only worry is our full back line again way to open back there.

Good fight back from Derry to make a game of it at half time

Come on Cork... finish the job and do us a favour

I assumed it was full time when I saw the score. What a crazy game in Cork. Defending seems to have gone out the window in div 1 this season.

Hoho...

Sounds like some game! Well done Cork

But they are conceeding some big scores...

Hard luck to Derry... never gave up

Game of the league so far... The league this year

Some cracking games...

Dubs move up!

Come on Kerry... bleeding win a match

You owe us one for keeping you in Div 1
