I assumed it was full time when I saw the score. What a crazy game in Cork. Defending seems to have gone out the window in div 1 this season

These shootouts every week look great on paper, iv'e only saw highlights of the games so far and have been happy enough but has the physical element been diminished since the black card was brought in? Can anyone shed any light, don't get me wrong i'm against cynical fouling and the new rules are bringing out the best in my own counties lighter forwards but i really hope we can find a happy medium. I'd take a good hard hitting, played on the edge game such as ourselves and armagh in 05 semi as opposed to a you attack then we attack 2.23 2.22 game that has little or no edge to it.

Plenty of entertainment down in Cork, great stuff, Kerry and Tyrone slogging it out, so it's not goals and points galore in that one, if Kerry get over the line they'll be well up for Kildare next week, which should be a cracker, Derry/Dublin should be decent too!

The only decent thing Barry John Keane has done in a Kerry jersey is foul Kevin Mc

The lad wouldn't get near the Dublin squad

You can safely say that Tyrone and Kerry won't win much this year, Tyrone are awful at the back and their No: 4 (is it Tierney?) is a massive liability. However once again I have warned about the consequences of the black card; defending is now non existent and players are afraid to tackle. The first half of the Kerry/Tyrone game has totally vindicated this. You can see players are holding back and the referee is penalising everything deemed physical. Any time Tyrone go near Brian Sheehan the referee blows up and some of the frees are shockingly soft and the official is massively inconsistent. If Tyrone surround a player he blows up but the other way around and he lets the play go.

O'Donoghue is really making his mark, another cracker of a goal!

Tyrone are absolutely dreadful; they have gone back years over these past 2 games. Kerry are very average but they are running Tyrone ragged all over the pitch. The so called Tyrone revival is now officially a myth.

We have been very poor today no doubt but we are still in the top 5-6 teams IMO maybe stop worrying about tyrone and look at your own county who u never even comment on have you no interest in antrim at all....

I don't think Kerry are very average. I think they've been unlucky not to take any points in their first three games. They were awful this time last year, but recovered very well and had a strong championship. I think they've gone forward. Their play has been good, if a little too open, but they look good today. I have to agree with you in relation to Tyrone though, they look awful today.

Duke, if you had bothered to read the Antrim page you will see that I have my opinions known there. Maybe my words are hurting you but that's your problem. Before this game Kerry were pointless and low on confidence. Today, even without the Gooch, they really destroyed Tyrone and made you look like very, very poor footballers. Your defence is the worst I have seen at this level.

Kerry will be championship contenders. James O'Donoghue is unreal. He's in the Gooch mould.

Fair enough Ulsterman and yeah no doubt we are hurting after watching that performance today, i don't normally worry that much about league games bar getting enough wins to stay up, maybe make the semis but aslong as the effort is there thats the main thong but that today was shocking, i'm not sure who we have next in the league but by god we need to get some kind of response as thats as bad as i have saw us play in a long time, don't get me wrong we got walloped down there in 05 by kerry by 12 or 13 but atleast we had a panel of winners at this stage i just don't know what we have but the problems in midfield have been apparent for years but still we get cleaned out, we used to be good for breaking ball but now we are terrible. Defense is shocking as you pointed out and the full forward line is light weight.
Anyway the sooner the next game the better hopefully it's the dubs or cork to see if we can try and get a response from our lads.
