Offaly were down 4 lads who started the Meath game but actually replaced them with better lads im told. & the lad who told me wouldnt lie.

We also played Waterford & tipp so it doesnt really count as wins & down were already through when we played them, so they brought very little intensity.

I was in Tullamore Saturday. I don't care what that lad told you. Offaly were poor on the day and looked tired/disinterested. We should've won by over 10 points and would have only for their keeper. And the ref. We have one of the best long range freetakers currently playing football yet didn't score a single free. Because we didn't get one in scoring range. I'll be in Navan next weekend and am hoping for another exciting game of football. I'll still be surprised if we win though!

We really are in bonus territory now. A win in Navan would be great, a battling, spirited, performance could well do it, but we are stepping up a grade despite jinxies efforts to play down Meaths chances.
I didn't really have any complaints about the ref last Saturday. Yes, we got no frees in scoring range, but I don't recall anything that we should have got. Some of the Offaly defenders were so off the pace that they couldn't even get close enough to foul. But for their goalkeeper they would have been humiliated on their home patch.

Can you access the Stand in Navan using General Admission tickets or do you need specific Stand tickets for that?

I see Ticketmaster is only listing general admission tickets, rather than having a separate category for stand tickets.

That usually means that a general admission ticket is good for any part of the ground, including the stand, if you're there in time to get a seat in it.

I'd suggest holding off for a little while though, just in case stand tickets end up being listed separately. Hopefully there'll be a big crowd there but I can't see it selling out before Wednesday or Thursday, so you'd be time enough buying then.

Doubt there'll be 11000 there but I'm going to get my tickets this evening to be sure of them.

and they should be. Despite their troubles they are a D2 team and have been operating at a higher level than us for years. Anyone who thinks that just doesn't count is mad. So we go with no fear and hope. Regardless of what happens, the TC has showed that with the injury problems we had in the league behind us, we are on the right track.

It's knockout football. No point playing with fear and spending the off season wondering "what if?".

Just fort Wexford fans wondering how it works, it's always general admission in Navan so it gets you into the stand or terrace - whichever you prefer. Game starts at 4 so getting into the stand around 3:30 should guarantee you a seat, rumour has it that it will rain so maybe that might be a factor for some people.
