We can't draw Antrim as we were in the same group.

Can't get Antrim since we had them in the group. Will have to be one of the other three.

He is there to run himself into the ground. They won't be looking for scores from him but he has a big job to play.

Meath in Navan this weekend.
After Saturday's fine victory I believe that we can go into this game with confidence.
Meath under Colm O'Rourke are average enough.
They finished 6th in division 2 and just avoided the drop to division 3. They were beaten by Offaly in leinster.
So the big question is of course can we take another big scalp. This is a great opportunity for the lads to get into the semi final of the Tailteann Cup. There really is nothing to fear in Navan. We now look like a side well capable of getting a good result on Saturday/ Sunday. The front 6 are really doing the business. Scoring 1.22 v Offaly was Impressive. Players like Rositter, Nolan,Brosnan, Malone, Brooks all gave great performances.
Our corner backs could be tighter though but I'm Sure Hegarty will be working on that this week.
Not as prominent at midfield but I think Hughes and Coleman will create scoring opportunities and take a few scores themselves.

He's a good hurler too for that very reason.

Looking forward to it would've preferred Limerick but it is what it is. Interestingly a couple of knowledgeable football posters are tipping us to win on the football championship prediction thread. Not me now, I'm only a lucky football poster, though I've obviously tipped us to win too!!!

I thought our middle 8, and particularly the midfielders, were the winning of the game in Tullamore tbh. We won the world of primary possession for the likes of Lyons and the inside forwards to use.

Wexford heavy favourites for this one, & should probably win with 5 or 6 to spare.

The only barometer that can be used to compare both teams is Offaly. Both counties have played them in the same competition at the same venue, so its a sound marker to judge from.
Meath were soundly beaten, while Wexford won pulling up & score highly from play.

If we get the rub of the green & everything falls for us, we may sneak something, but on paper its a comfortable Wexford win.

Your not fooling anyone, Offaly were a shadow of themselves from earlier in the year, your at home and got the week off, we have a chance but your certainly favorites.

No certainly not.

When you see the queue that lined up to tell us how brutal we are after the offaly game, from every county in the country, theres absolutley no doubt, we are down the pecking oder rightly.

Wexford are one of the form teams in the competition at the minute & we'll see this are a real shot at a semi final spot & who knows from their.

My comments on the midfielders are based on what Spratt and Aiden O'Brien said after the game. They were of the opinion that Hughes and Coleman were not nearly as effective as they were in the Leitrim game. As I wasn't at the game I will leave it to those who were there, like yourself Viking to form an opinion.

Think we won around 75% of the kickouts. That's a pure guess as I didn't count them all but that's the way it felt.

Offaly were down 4 starters from their victory over yourselves. And you won all 3 of your TC group games since.

Am not a gambling man myself but have just looked up the odds, and if you're so sure about what you say here, then I strongly advise you to lump on with Paddy Power.

They have Meath at 1/7 to win the match, and Wexford ("heavy favourites", according to yourself) at 5/1 against. The handicap betting is a six-point advantage for Meath, not for Wexford, as you predict.

Get in quick before the bookies realise their mistake in putting things the wrong way round!!!!!!
