Didn't see yesterday coming at all, delighted.

Jamsie, Collie, Fento brilliant. Shout out to the back line, that's the best we've been.

We expect but Cluxton was immense, that save, kick outs, the confidence he radiates was a big par of our defensive performance. Funny, I think it was a Mayo lad stirring the decision to bring him back earlier in the year, funny.

Whole team contributed, real hunger and want yesterday, fierce in the tackle.

Are we peaking at the right time…..

Focus now required, we will be roaring hot favourites for Monaghan, we can't bring any complacency and need to post a performance, you can't switch on and off form, keep momentum going.

Up The Dubs.

No tickets on Ticketmaster or usual retail outlets. Ticketmaster up to their old scare tricks ?

I see there are currently no more tickets on sale on Ticketmaster since about lunchtime.

Seems to be a good bit of interest in the TC Final, so that could be a factor in the massive demand for tickets for this double header.

I doubt if it is Sold Out already though.......

The other double header will be nowhere near a sell out imo.

ahh they're always at that. Releasing them in limited batches to create a pent up demand. It's bullS***.

yep, no tickets available. Would we have any luck going via Centra or SuperValu stores? I imagine the few that still sell tickets don't have any either, as it's linked to TicketMaster?

A joke that Gaa would put the Tailteann game on with the Dubs .

The Tailteann cup could attract up to 25,000 why not put that with Kerry v Derry ??

Makes no sense .

A lot of fans in Dublin monaghan Meath and Down will be panicking now

I couldn't log on to get a ticket myself, either? I doubt that it's sold out yet. I imagine that they are holding back tickets. It's a problem for many of us though who are working during the day and can't access the internet until the evening. Also there seem to be less Centra and SuerValu stores stocking ticket machines?

Definitely holding back tickets - for reasons only known to themselves.

Keep your ear to the ground because I can see more going on sale next week.

A lot of interest in this game, and as was already said, they should have put it on as a double header with the other AI semi at the very least.

Its my belief they give the best tickets to the clubs first and then put the rest on general sale. That's why if you buy early it's hard to get central tickets. However the clubs then release them back to croke park and ticketmaster so I'd imagine a few more to go on sale tomorrow unless the clubs have used them all

Seriously, do you reckon the Tailteann Cup will draw 25K????? That probably accounts for poor availabaility for Dublin v MOnaghan fixture?

Well this is it lads/lasses,zhes,zhers

The Dubs are where they wanted to be, two narrow losses in Semifinals in 2021,22.

Has to be huge motivation, even for a team that achieved so much, there's fresh faces and old warriors looking to be wanting more again, maybe even as a fan base that was well fed.. that excitement is there again.

You'd imagine that Monaghan will go heavy defense first, look to turn over, frustrate and counter with direct running. Dubs have been shown to be vulnerable playing against Kildare and Roscommon when they played a similar style of football.

Monaghan though I feel will need goals to win this game, even though Kildare and Roscommon did very well, they didn't score heavily enough. If Monaghan are to mirror a similar performance but go a couple of PTS further, they'll need a couple of goals imo.

I said months back that I felt this was Dublin's best chance for a final appearance in a few years, we'll have to wait and see if they are good enough.

For me, they are a solid defensive performance away but Monaghan aren't in a semifinal by accident, huge credit to them and the build up must be huge up there.

Normally that's what's happens Avon or maybe even Thursday but if the clubs have a big take up many might not go back on resale. The truth is I'm not sure. Hope the rest of the clan are lucky with the tickets.

I hope we have enough to get to the final Jimbo.

However, my fear all year has been our defence against a forward unit like the 2 Cliffords and Geaney.

I think we have definitely improved this year and our bench is much stronger.
Dont forget, we were without Con, Mannion, Jack and Stephen in last year's semi.

Defo a determination about our group as per Fento's final whistle reaction v Mayo.

1 last hurrah for a few of the lads - hopefully....

Was nervous about Mayo but will be even more so, if we make the final.
I still maintain that we will get brutally exposed at the back against a slick attacking FF line.

But hopefully I will be proved wrong,

Just checked TM again there now - quite a lot of tickets still available for Sun but no word on tickets being released for Sat.

Speaking to pals in both Meath and Monaghan and quite a few are ticketless....

It seems the GAA greatly underestimated the demand for this double header....

I am sorted with my Hill ticket, but hope genuine fans get sorted before Sat....

I will keep checking and let people know if more become available.

We are definitely back playing with the bit between the teeth again and its great to see. I honestly can't see anything other than a convincing handicap beating win on Saturday. I predict something like 8 or 9pt margin. Not to be disrespectful to Monaghan but they just won't have enough options to put out all the fires we will present to them. I just feel we have bene primed for three big games this year and we are right where we want to be. Monaghan are in complete bonus territory and what an achievement to go further than other fancied Ulster counties.

I'm also hopeful Derry will take a pound of flesh out of Kerry on Sunday. Ultimately I doubt they'll have enough to take them out but should be closer than people think.
