Replying To Blockandhook:  "I strongly feel that the Wexford team is partly a dummy team. I honestly can't see Mikie Dwyer and Charlie mcguician in the half forward line. I'll go with Larry's prediction that Chin will start and go in at number 11. Bit surprised at pepper ahead of OFoley. Yes i think we'll see a number of personnel and positional switches ahead of throw in"
I'd say the team will start pretty much as named. And nothing wrong with that.

Can see a couple of positional changes . Dunbar likely midfield with McGovern switching to wing forward? Excellent performance by Cork in the second half tonight . Would be great to reach a league final against them. Hoping for a great atmosphere tomorrow . Games against Waterford in Nowlan Park have brought some unbelievable atmospheres like in 2014 and 2003

Replying To Wexfordgaa:  "Was at the minor game hurled well for long periods and 3 21 is a great score. Shane Roache scored seven or eight from play from oulart strong chap looks a good player. Murphy from cushinstown scored 7 two from play and solid from frees. Cillian Byrne score 2 1 or 2 2 and looked lively all game. Paudi Doyle from the Anne's had a good second half with a brilliant goal. We seemed to run out of steam with 10 minutes to go in both halves. All the same good win never easy in a heavy Parnell park"
Roche and Byrne impressed last year too.

My premonition is realised earlier than I expected. When push came to shove, Kikkenny were found wanting, Cody only brought on two subs and their puck-out routine is prehistoric.

You might be right about Kilkenny and Cody, but let's wait until at least Leinster is finished before drawing conclusions.

I think Kilkenny will be a very different animal come championship.

To be fair; I think most, if not all, of the counties will be a very 'different animals' once the Leinster and Munster Championships commence.
As much as I'm enjoying watching the league hurling at the moment, there is not the same edge and intensity you get in the championship games.
Interesting game this afternoon. Paddy Power has Waterford as favourite. I've backed Wexford to win at 5/2 with a handicap of -2 points.

Bring back Davy. We're back to the embarrassing days we had before Davy arrived

I wouldn't go that far but it's awful viewing. Men against boys. Doesn't bode well for the upcoming championship, McDonald just limped off too. Just shows how some good results in the league group games doesn't carry any real weight. As someone mentioned during the week, Limerick just back from holiday, Clare minus our annual tormentor Tony Kelly, Galway minus Concannon and Whelan and cork minus 6/7 regulars. The Offaly game was in doubt up until the 60th minute. To lose today by a few points would have been perfectly acceptable but to get a hammering puts us back to square one.

Don't want to knock lads when they are down, but by god we got found out today. Am I the only person worried about Ryan defensively? Not in form at all. Matty looked laboured as well. Donohoe at sea.

For a midfielder to stroll in to score two identicial goals sums up our plight. Typical Wexford. Just as the feel good factor is back they don't perform.

Galway will bate us.

Replying To Canuck:  "I don't want either team having someone red carded but if it is Waterford I am sure you will be back to your "townie" b.s. again. Don't see why I would change what I interrupt as nasty play but sharing an opinion with a hater like you is a waste of time."
Be waiting for your call out on yet another Waterford red card. What a shock.

Well that's us put back in our box. Why is it whenever you get a bit of hope/positivity invariably the wind gets taken out of the sails so emphatically? Seems like teams just love squashing any kind of hope out of Wexford. Anyway done now so here's to hoping the championship is kinder to us.

Replying To LarryOBrother:  "Wexford or Waterford???

I'll get shot down for this but i don't buy that Waterford have an exceptional panel of players. They have a lot of subs around the same level but if Peter Hogan and Kieran Bennett are on the first 15 then i have my doubts about their overall strength.
Also time for Dessie to walk the walk in championship now as well. He scored 2 goals against Clare a few years ago but i don't think he's got more than 2 or 3 points since. Thats not top 10 level forward. He's lethal at club level but if he's the top top class inter county forward he's made out to be he'd want to start upping his game. IN MY OPINION"
Yeah, Larry O'Bother, Dessie is only good at club level or league. Come championship, he'll be sorted?

Yeah right! I've seen Hutchison come within millimeters of destroying Sean Finn…millimeters…! That's how fine the line is…at the top (these days).

Dessie just didn't walk today. He danced…actually, he waltzed and to his own tune.

Its in relation to earlier posts. Canuck didn't like me calling truths on what Waterford are really like. Thats all. Austins red not a shock. Neither the result. They're good.

We looked lacking in energy all over the pitch. And the lads looked far from gutted during the warmdown. We have had 2 bad beatings at the end of unbeaten runs in the Walsh Cup and now the League. Egan didn't look overly disappointed either in the post match interview. What with giving the younger lads a good run in the game I cant help wondering is this all part of a plan.

Hutchinson played very well. Hes a good exciting player to watch. Hopefully if we play Waterford again this summer we wont look as tired as we did today.
