Depends on how much boxty they've eaten.

Yes of course they can fly if you put them on a plane.

Nothing to do with boxty. I'd be a bigger fan of potato cake anyway. Lovely when it's crispy.

One of your posts I thought suggested you were male. Maybe I read it wrong. Thank you for your kind words words but I actually don't know everything. I know some things like Cavan people know what boxty is.

The national sports arena have some lovely gaa pitches and the Dubs have played on them but they D have to build big stands to accommodate Dublin's fans. Land up here also very expensive"
I don't know Mick boy it's very easy for dublin supporters to say its not their fault that the gaa just keeps trowin money at them and making them play in the NATIONAL stadium where the "choice" of dressing room 1 and warming up in front of the hill is conveniently done in alphabetical order in Irish.

As Clint Eastwood said in the outlaw Josey Wales don't p*ss down my back and tell me its raining.

Jays Tommy but you seem to be fierce upset about something all the time. You can't win them all. Sure Cork will probably be without a couple of their main players next year and you can go back to Munster titles again.

Well I know where you ré coming from and yes Dublin are treated better by the gaa hierarchy but again its not the players fault. I agree the dressing room thing is wrong. If it's considered neutral the dressing rooms should be done by a toss or whatever. In saying all that I think we are just picking little holes now to try make ourselves feel better. The dressing room does nt make Dublin win nor does the warm up in front of the Hill. On the dressing room thing Micko always preferred a certain dressing room and I think he switched dressing rooms on purpose with Kildare v Kerry in 98 semi.

Will Dublin have a big number or retirements or will the shorter season persuade them to stay one more year?
OSuillivan, Andrews, MDMc, philly, Kevin Mc, Ocarroll and I'm definitely missing at least one more who could go. Think James Mc and Rock are over 30 but def won't go yet. Cluxton could well go when people aren't really talking about it.
Whenever these do retire, it can't be underestimated how much of a loss they will be to the panel.

It's amazing that the 2011 minor team which Tipp beat is most of that team now at this stage or at least the main men. I counted 7 playing the last day and Fenton would have been too if he was picked as a minor as would Mccaffrey and Lowndes was also on the panel on Sunday. 9 top players who have multiple all irelands. It was an amazing achievement really by Tipp to beat that team. I said it at the time it was the best minor team I ever seen and given what has followed I still think it was true.

All great servant to Dublin nó doubt but the first 5 you mentioned are part of the first 15 anymore. Maybe O Sullivan if he Was fit might be a starter. At the moment their losses won't be huge as Dubs have brought in some top new faces. Mccarthy and Rock still young. Cluxton though altho getting very old would still be a massive loss for Dublin although young Comerford a very able replacement. In other words Dublin still very strong and maybe Jack might be back too.

I think you'll likely find the still have big roles on the panel albeit the real leaders now are probably McCarthy, Fenton, Small, Kk and Rock. I'd have no doubt thought that should they retire their loss would be massively felt to Dublin. I think it's hard to say that you replace those guys leadership too easily.

I also read that the 2012 minor all ireland was Dublin's only one since 1984 which is unreal compared to kerrysrecent record and winning their 8th minor munster in a row in the last few days too. Dublin's dominance may last another year or two but I think you'll find teams will catch up when McCarthy, rock, cluxton and to a lesser extent cooper all retire. Although they will still be very strong for a while yet.

Yes indeed Tipp they will. I must say though that Dublin were always a top contender and will continue to be. It just so happens this bunch of players got together at the same time to produce the greatest team. However Dublin always dined at the top table. Pundits go on about Dublin not winning an all ireland for 16 years and now they winning everything. Not totally true. Dublin were never gone away. I mean before the back door your season could be ended quickly like Kerry this year but since back door Dublin were very unlucky in 02 07 10.People forget that. Just cos they did nt win Sam people said they were in the doldrums. Mayo have nt won Sam since 51 and Pat Gilroy says they are the 2nd greatest team of all time. Dublin were always strong but this team is just special.

Three backroom Mayo people suspended for attending the AI final.

What an absolute farce this is.

I know if i was one of those people I'd have nothing to do with the GAA ever again.
