it will be the same as yesterdays game if we get a good start we can win

This Cork team is better than Cork teams of the last 5 / 6 years so you are up against in the Semi

Well done Donegal. Great result on the journey. Elements of the media are so begrudging in their view of you. Where is Val Andrews now? Maybe he will make a re-appearance on Championship Matters this week! Somehow don't think so.

Should be a cracker of a game. Cork are a big strong physical team and are well able to take long range points. Will be a massive battle for you,s for a place in the all ireland final...

And what?? so u think Redhot that be easy game for ya's?? U think Donegal are still on the same level as 3 years ago when hammered them in Croke?

I am expecting a really competitive intense contest. Cork will win it because they have better players. They will adapt better to the changing trends in a tight game. Expect Cork to get ahead and dictate from there. They have a super defence and better scorers. The Donegal keeper without the protection of his fourteen man defence is a weak link waiting to be exposed. Donegal are well drilled and the whole of Donegal has "signed up" to the Mc Guinness philosophy, thats fair enough ,its great solidarity. My own opinion is that the better offensive teams win All Irelands. I dont rate Donegal above Dublin,Cork or Mayo.

Trixy, its obvious you haven't seen much of us this year because Durcan has pulled off a handful of outstanding saves and Donaghys goal was the first time he has been beaten in an aerial battle. A weak link he is not!

Now I am reminded why I don't really like Mayo, no mater what we do people like the above will kick us from a county of All Ireland bottlers some cheek troll of somewhere else like the Dublin page if you have nothing good to say.

Trixy I'm afraid your way off the mark regards paul Durcan, our goalkeeper. He's made a number of outstanding saves this year, he saved a goal in th dying minutes against tyrone that saved the game for us, if they'd got the goal we'd have probably lost. made a few great saves on sunday, even saved a point. have a look at paul durcans saves before you judge him next time please.

john_waynei . I did not say that it is going to be a easy game for Cork what i said was that this Cork team is a better team than Cork teams of the past

Redhot (Cork) - 07/08/2012 17:24:51    1241055

Durcan a weak link? Thats a person who doesnt know alot.. Its between him and cluxton for All Star and that says how good he's been

Good man trixty, thats right enough. It must have been boys like yourself that rte are looking at when they decide that Val Andrews would be a good guest on Championship Matters!! You know your stuff cove!

Note to all Cork fans. You beat a Kildare team that was well beaten by Meath and were one tackle away from being beaten by Leitrim. I would say Jim is delighted at the manner of your victory against the perennial chokers Kildare as your arrogance levels and confidence will be even higher than usual. Roll on the 26th August until the langers get a rude awakening.

Kildare didn't play Leitrim in the championship this year..a little less arrogance there lad....

I'd like to see Donegal do it but I fear for ye a bit against Cork. They are a machine and if they get the same amount of possession that Kerry got they will make hay. Ye will need goals and besides the lucky one ye got the last day, ye didn't really threaten to get one. They are ahead of ye in terms of development and they feel they let one slip away last year. It's going to be physical and Cork will love that.

Cute_Kerry_Hoor (Kerry) - 08/08/2012 11:36:16    1241509

Sorry I meant to say Limerick and not Leitrim. Another division 4 team. Anyway same point. The 'ye have beat no-one yet' should apply more to Cork than Donegal.

its been a while since ive been on here but anyway cork v donegal another semi final in 2 years great to be in that position again and going on performance you's are in a great position just wondering what way you feeling on how this one might go,its going to be a tough one i predict imo anyway cork will be a whole lot stronger and i think both sides are matched well physically wise so the tackles will be fierce anyway ill await your reply !!!!!!

I can see Donegal winning this game with a good bit in hand, 5-7pts win. I think Murphy is due a blinder and will turn it on big style, ensuring Sam doesn't return to the peoples republic of Cork this year.
