No action last weekend after An Tochar decided not to show up for 13 aside competition, but it's full steam ahead this weekend with tough championship opener Friday evening in Arklow against a flying Kilmac outfit. With a few out through injury and others suspended it will need all shoulders to the wheel. Support appreciated. Hard luck to Mark, Paddy and Padraig last weekend against Laois. Tough to be so near yet so far but great for a small little club like ourselves having three on the field of play at the final whistle and all contributing. There was no lotto jackpot winner last weekend. The numbers drawn were 4. 9. 23. 28 with Mick Lynch and the Tyrrell kids the only match three winners. Finally the final amount raised for Down Syndrome Ireland and The Martin Family from our recent Family Fun day was an incredible €3,780. Well done and thanks to all who contributed.
