Bray Emmets have finally appointed a new senior hurling manager.

Tipperary native Tommy Carroll has been handed the task of filling the big void left by his predecessor John Henderson.

The Kilkenny native stood down having guided the club to three consecutive senior hurling titles.

Carroll has an impressive CV in management while he also won an All-Ireland club title with Thurles Sarsfields in 1987, and in the same year was part of the Tipperary squad that claimed the Munster title.

Meanwhile, Glenealy will be managed by Wexford's Gary Laffan and Eamonn Scallan has been appointed manager of Eire Og.
