Seniors - Blessington Seniors beat Avondale in the Renault Championship quarter final on Sat 10 Sep in Aughrim on a scoreline of 2-17 to 0-08. The Semi-finals will be played in two weeks' time and the lineup is: Blessington v St Patrick's, Bray Emmets v Baltinglass.

 

Minors - Our Minors drew with St Nicks in Donard on Wed 7 Sep in a very exciting game. Final score Blesso 2-10 St Nicks 3-07.  

Physio - The club physio will be in the clubhouse on Tues at 7pm. Players training on the night will be given priority.

 

Ladies

Junior Ladies: - Training Thur 7pm to 8:30pm with U16's unless U16 league game is played on the same day. Final few training sessions before Minor football commences.

G4M &O - Training Wed 7:15 to 8pm. The ladies played a challenge match away V Raheens on Wed 7 Sep and played a fantastic game and good skill by all with everybody changing positions each quarter. Raheens' gave the ladies a very big welcome with a big spread of food after.  G4M is open to anybody aged 18 and over all are welcome no previous football experience required. U14's - Congrats to the U14 girls who beat Arklow to win their place in the Championship A final in Ballinakill on the 2 Oct. Final score 6-10 to 2-02. The girls also won the Div 2 league and the trophy was presented to Captain Ellie McKeever.  Well done girls. Photos on our Facebook page.

Juvenile

 

Annual Mini All Ireland Tournament commenced on Sun 11 Sep. There are 4 teams in U8, U10 and U12 teams. Glad to report that nobody got blown away up at the pitch!  Great start to our Mini All Ireland's. Very well done to all players and managers. A brilliant display of football despite the strong wind. Thanks a mill to everyone playing, supporting and helping in any way. Semi Finals on Wed at 6pm (Teams to meet at5.30pm.) U12: Mayo v Tyrone. Kildare v Laois. U10: Cork v Meath. Dublin v Tipperary. U16's - Our U16's are away v Avondale in the third round of the Championship on Mon 12 Sep 7.30pm.

 

U14's - Our lads had a good win away v Carnew Emmets on Sat 10. It was a tough championship match. Everyone put in a great performance. Up next is An Tochar on Sun 18 Sep Time TBC.

U11/U12's - Mon training 6:30pm to 8pm. No training on Wed due to Mini All Ireland.  

U11's played away to Clane on Thur 1 Sep in the NKL and had a well-deserved win by 4 points 36 to 32. Big thank you to the U10's that travelled to make up the numbers. Two wins on the trot.  Well done to all.

U12's (playing in 1st division of the NKL) were at home V Celbridge 1 on Sat 11 Sep and had a very competitive game losing by a single point 3-5 to 4-3 This was a hard fought game with no side giving way. Great performance from all the lads and the game could have gone either way. Scorers on the day S. Gough 1-02, K O Connell 1-02, M. Fetherstone 1-00 and E. McNally 0-01. Next Games: Sat 17 Sep - U12 Wicklow League Final Ballinakill Time TBC. Sat 17 Sep - U11's are due to play Leixlip at home at 4:30pm. (may be cancelled due to Wicklow Final.)

U7's - NKL away v Kill on Sat 17 at 2.30pm.

Lotto - No winner of Lotto draw on Tues 6 Sep. Numbers drawn 3-10-19-28. 4 matched 3 numbers. Helen Hennessy, Ann Moran, Amy and Shane Taggart and Tony Kenny. Each receive €75.
