The Byrnes of Ballymanus and the Ballymanus club has always been synonymous with one another, however there was one who was the envy and talk of the town last week and that was Christine, who managed to match all four of last weeks lotto jackpot numbers (3,5,12,24) and scoop the top award €12,500. Well done and congrats Giz. Ann Keogh, Patrick Breen, Imelda (c/o John Harmon) and Bob (c/o Londis) matched three numbers on the night. There was a huge crowd at the juvenile awards on Saturday evening to celebrate the success' during the year. All players were awarded with a medal for their efforts (& a homework sheet), with a number, from each of the u8; u10 and u12 grades, also receiving individual awards from Mark on the night. Well done to all who made the night a huge success, in particular to Paul Flynn for his audiovisual exploits, pulling together a 'Sunday Game' video reel to recapture some of the glory during the year and keep all entertained. The club AGM takes place this Friday evening (Nov 20th) in the hall at 8pm. All players, members & prospective members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
