Senior and Junior Ladies
AGB Senior Ladies suffered a heavy defeat to Baltinglass in the Senior Championship semi-finals on Sunday the 16th of August. Hard Luck Ladies. All the best in the final to Baltinglass.

The AGB Junior Ladies took on Barndarrig in the first round of championship on August 11th. The girls put in a fine performance against a determined but under-strength Barndarrig. Their second round game is scheduled for August 17th against Carnew.

Intermediate Men
AGB Intermediate Men defeated Ballymanus in this vital league game played in Pearse's Park on Tuesday the 11th. It was a great display from this young Arklow side who showed great skill fitness and ability. At the half way stage it was all square AGB 0-5 Ballymanus 1-2. After the resumption the home side took control scoring a further 8 points. O'Connor in goal could not be responsible for the shots that beat him and he got great support from Maher, Byrne and Hamilton. The fast half back line of the Kelleher brothers and Ciaran Hyland caused a lot of problems for Ballymanus as they set up attack after attack. O'Brien and Kelly teamed up well in mid field. The forwards of Mc Bride, Healy, J.P and Ivan Hurley,Fitzgerald, O'Shea and Kelly all contributed to this win. Ian Bracken sealed the game with two great points when he came on. This was a great display by a team with great potential. Final score: AGB 0-13 Ballymanus 2-3.

The men were out again for Intermediate championship match on Sunday the 16th, but unfortunately the scoreline was in Carnew's favour on this occasion.  Final score AGB 1-11 to Carnew 5-11.
