Our U8's had Go Games on Saturday morning which were hosted by Lacken/Kilbride. We fielded two teams where we played Lacken/Kilbride, Dunlavin and Hollywood. Both teams played great football and despite missing some older lads they were well able for it. This week, as well as the usual suspects, we seen great displays from Willow, Josh and Phillip on one of the teams while Alex and Ciaran really shone in the other team. We also sent a third team to Valleymount for their Go Games as one of the other teams scheduled to play couldn't turn up. A big thanks to Jess Carroll who stepped in to look after the team where we played Valleymount, Donard and Stratford. By all accounts all 8 Blesso players played fantastic football. A special mention for Ciaran Butler and Jamie O'Toole on this team who recently moved up to U8's and made their Go Games debuts where both had man of match displays. Also stand out performances from Aaron, Conor, and Robyn.  Blesso U8's would like to thank both Lacken/Kilbride and Valleymount for all the sandwiches and goodies after the games and we look forward to returning the favour later in season. Our U16s returned to league action this week after the junior cert break.  Two away games to avondale and dunlavin  resulted in two defeats.  Two decent performances but much to build on for the championship.  We would like to thank the under 14 team for their help over the two games as the squad is severely short with holidays etc. Gaelic for Mothers & Others: Training as usual Wed 6:45 to 8pm.
