The intermediates played second fiddle to Avondale in their league encounter in Tinahely last week and ended up losing on a scoreline of 1-16 to 2-6. They have St Pats up this Tuesday night, Baltinglass next Tuesday and Rathnew then in the championship on July 12th.
The u12 footballers were however in finer form when they took on Kiltegan recently, in what was probably their best game of year so far. They were winning by 4 points at half time but ran out of steam in last quarter. The final score was 5-10 to 3-7. There was no lotto jackpot winner for the draw held Monday June 15th. The numbers drawn were 13. 17. 18. 22 with Laura Murphy the only match three winner.
