Under 14:
We had a good turn out of 28 players on Saturday morning who worked hard during the session,and finished off the session with a match but we had to cut the session a little short due to a terrible down pour , training continues next Saturday morning @10-30.

Under 16:
Our u16 Academy team played Wexford in a challenge game last Friday night in Balinakill. We had 25 players in attendance. It took us a while to settle into the game and Wexford took the initiative. Wexford converted some early frees with ease. Wicklow got back into the game with some lovely points and just before half time Wicklow  got a goal which was duly deserved. The half time score was 1.3 to 0.7. The second half saw Wicklow take control and some lovely points saw them take a deserved lead. Towards the end of the game Wicklow conceded two soft goals. However they got themselves going again and fired over a crucial point for a one point win. Al 25 players on the night got game time.Next up is training on Tuesday night and on May bank holiday Monday we play Dublin.
