Longford minors begin their Leinster MFC campaign with a tricky trip to Wicklow.

The Midlanders face the Garden County in Blessington and despite poor results in the Leinster League; the squad are in a confident mood.

Longford can call on the likes of Conor Berry, Jason Matthews and Cathal McCabe from last year's side that lost out to Kildare in the Leinster MFC quarterfinal after extra time.

Wicklow have struggled at this level in recent years and Longford will be slight favourites even though they are away.
