St Patricks GAA club notes

We are looking for a club member to take over the writing up of the clubnotes every week.Its a simple job but they have to be completed or written up every week. If you are interested please contact Eugene Dooley.
    The St. Patrick's Irish/ American Tea Party was a Hugh success and a great crowd turned up on the night.. Well done to the Feile committee and especially Mary Cahill and Liam Whitty for selling the tickets.
      Well done to Claire Shannon ,our new PRO and Communicatins manager and our very own in house interior designer Ann Hollingsworth and of course Patrice Evans for organising our "Easter Pop Up Shop"at Tonys shop on mains street beside Anne Harris jewellers. The idea of this shop is  to make people more aware of our club and to let people know what age groups etc   we cater for. Thank you to Tony O Reilly for his wonderful generosity.
  As you may be aware all club memberships are now due and may be paid in the clubhouse any Saturday morning between 11am and 1 pm. Our club registrar Eddie Leonard and Alan O Brien are there every Saturday to help you register your membership .
    Congratulations to our club registrar Eddie Leonard who retired from Axa/PMPA insurance Company last week after 37 service.Congratulations to Veronica and Eddie on such a special occasion. Eddie has put in some service into the company over the years as he has done in our club. So well done Eddie and thank you for your hard work.
    Under 8 hurling for boys continues on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm until 7:30pm that's for boys born in 2007 and 2008 and we have four coaches as we said in last weeks notes.Contact Alan Lawlor on 086 2784498 for further details or to register your child.
    Meanwhile under 10 hurling starts back every Monday evening at 7pm at The St Patrick's National School pitch. Newcomers are very welcome and we have plenty of spare hurls and helmets, so why not give it a try! Coaches this year are Brian Gleeson, Paddy Culleton and Rob Greene.    Don't forget we have the "Little Warriors" Nursery every Saturday morning for boys and girls between the ages of 4-6 year olds in both hurling and football. The nursery starts at 11am and finishes around 12:15pm every Saturday.Our tuck shop is open as well for a cup of tea and a biscuit. Free Wi Fi is also available in the clubhouse.
  On Saturday the 18th of April the club are presenting an award winning play called "The Pull" in the clubhouse at 8pm. It's a brilliant Irish comedy show starring award winning writers Liam Horan and John Corless. It's a great GAA comedy suitable for all the family and tickets are on sale for €15. Our Go Go Games will take place in St. Patrick's GAA club on Wednesday the 1st April at between 10 am and 12 noon.
Our lotto Jackpot for €5,900 was not won last week however we had three match 3 winners . Next weeks jackpot is €6,000 ,so if your not in,you can't win. Thank you to all those great club members who are selling tickets around the town on Saturday evenings. We really appreciate your hard and dedicated work. Last but not least don't forget to collect tokens for the club at Topaz outlets and drop them up to the clubhouse any Saturday morning.Have a good week!!
