Tom Walsh RIP
January 19, 2015On behalf of the Bray Emmets club I would like to thank all our members who helped in so many ways to create a fitting farewell to our great member, Tom Walsh .
There were so many who helped that I cannot name all, however I would like to mention some of the different groups who assisted.
I would like to thank Anne Longmore and the catering team, Paul Cunningham for organising the food, Pat Lee and the Guard of honour, Frances Stephenson and all who brought such thoughtful mementos of Tom's life and also, all who visited Tom's home or attended the funeral.
I would like also to thank all the GAA people who attended especially those from Croke Park, Wicklow County Board, Leinster and the Handball association.
The Walsh family has expressed great appreciation for the wonderful support they received from Bray Emmets and the wider GAA community at this very sad time.
