Carnew Emmets and Newtown will meet in this year's Wicklow minor 'B' football championship final.

With Newtown already safely through to await the winners, Carnew booked their place in the decider last weekend with a battling 0-10 to 0-8 victory over St Kevin's in Arklow.

In a dramatic end to the second semi-final, St Kevins edged ahead in the 55th minute thanks to a point from John Teahan Burke.

But Conal McCrea levelled the scores three minutes from the end before Justin House - with his second - and Dean Grandy floated over the points that confirmed Carnew's passage to the decider.
