Juvenile Notes:


Academy Presentation - The academy U8/U10 footballers and U12 hurlers held their presentation event in Avon Ri on Sat 6 Dec. Thanks to all boys and girls who came to awards ceremony and got their Go Games medals. U8 coaches would like to thank Jonathan Daniels for presenting  awards. Jonathan in conjunction with Eoin Keogh supervised and marked the skills tests which was used as basis of picking award winners this year. Thanks to Santa who also made a special appearance. Congrats to all the winners.


U7 football: Player of the Year - Patrick Small. Most Improved - Sean Behan. Most Dedicated - Ryan Keogh.
Skills Test Winner - Aaron Mulhall


U8 football: Player of the Year - Ben Carroll Daniels. Most Improved - Thomas Walsh. Most Dedicated - Tony Carroll. Skills Test Winner - David Gilmore

U10 football: Player of the Year - Conor Richardson. Most Improved - Lukas Saurkauskas. Most Dedicated -  Shane Brophy.

 

U8 hurling: Player of the Year - Max Kehoe.  Most Improved - Philip Byrne.  Most Dedicated - Jack Byrne.

 

U10 hurling: Player of Year Austin Brennan.  Most Dedicated - Marc Kehoe. Most Improved Killian O'Connell.

 

U12 hurling: Player of the Year - Oisin Brogan. Most Dedicated - Jon Kehoe. Most improved - Ben Higgins.

 

U11 Indoor Football: Hard luck to our U11 players who were narrowly beaten by St Kevin's in the Final which was held in Baltinglass on Sun 7 Dec.

 

The U12, 14 and 16 presentations will take place either this week or next week. Venue, time and date will be text to parents during the week. Awards up for grabs is the Player of the Year, Most Improved and Most Dedicated as well as the Pat Fanning Cup for U16 Player of the Year.

 

Ray Daniels/Allen Cup Competitions: Congratulations to Coolkenno who beat Donard/The Glen in the Ray Daniels Final (13 scores to 6) and to Baltinglass who beat St Nicholas in the Allen Cup Final in Dunlavin (13 points to 10).

Lotto: No winner of our Lotto Jackpot of €8800. Numbers were 1, 4, 9, 22. 6 matched 3 numbers and each receives €50. Our next draw is Tues 16th Dec in Hennessy's where the jackpot will be €9000. We will hold a bonus draw where 10 x €20 vouchers for our local shops will be drawn. Tickets to be returned by 9.30pm as draw will take place at 10pm during the winter months. General club notes

    The club will have their Annual Mass for deceased members on Mon 8 Dec at 8pm. Apologies for wrong details in last week's notes.
    The Club AGM has been deferred to Jan 2015.
    We have just received 18 Regatta fleece jackets with the Blessington GAA logo. We have the following: Age 2 x 5, Age 5-6 x 2, Size 32 x 9, Size 34 x 2. €15 each. When they are gone they are gone. Contact Pat Molloy on 086 8230130.
    Birthday wishes to Alex Puselie. John Behan, Sarah Loughman. Katie Quinlan, Adam Williamson, Evan White, Adam Williamson. Belated happy 1st birthday to Conor Clow. Conor and his family had a very tough year this year and fingers crossed 2015 will bring good health to Conor.
