Tragedy visits Glenealy
November 13, 2014Glenealy was plunged into mourning by the tragic death of 22-year-old Hayden O'Flaherty in a road traffic accident on Sunday night.
In the close-knit community of Glenealy and Rathdrum, the young man's death has been described as a "devastating blow".
The village was plunged into deep sadness as news of the tragic loss began to spread in the early hours of Monday morning.
A very popular individual, Hayden had been a valued member of the Glenealy Hurling Club, with whom he won a number of underage titles.
