St. Patricks GAA club notes

October 27, 2014

Hard luck to our U-14 Boys team who were beaten by Bray Emmets last Saturday afternoon in Arklow in the County Final of the Championship. They were going for a double having won the League earlier on in the year. This is a great team and by all accounts all the boys have a great future and it won't be too long awaiting until we see them play senior for the club. So Keep up the good work. Well done to the team mentors Veronica Leonard and Dean Healy our senior footballer.
It was also hard luck to our U 16 Boys who lost their semi final to Arklow Geraldines last week also.Well done to all players and mentors throughout the year.
The Tuck Shop is now officially closed until next season and well done to Georgina Cruz, Patrice Evans and our club treasurer Alan O Brien who have done tremendous work throughout the year. There will be one more date for ordering Christmas Football gear and we will let you all know next week. Club Vouchers are also available from the club treasurer Alan O Brien.
We are now actively looking for volunteers to get involved in the club. We are looking for volunteers at all levels,be it on the pitch,or in the tuck shop or indeed on the many committees. We welcome everyone into the club and we could do with extra help in many areas. You may contact any member in the club and they will direct you to committee.
This Thursday evening that's October 30th we have a Special meeting in order to plan our finances for 2014.All club members are most welcome and the meeting starts at 8pm Sharp.
A Big thank you to all the ladies and gents who organized the Halloween Nursery.
