Congratulations to the Under 14 girls team who are now county champions after defeating Eire Og on a scoreline of 5-10 to 2-10 in Roundwood. Congratulations to all involved.

Last Sunday on county final day, our victorious intermediate footballers and hurlers from 1989 where honoured as the jubilee team, being 25 years since their historic double. A great day was had by all in Aughrim and later on in Cullen's. Thanks to Liz Cullen for putting on a great evening.

There was no winner of the club lotto this week. Numbers drawn were 7,16,19 and 29. €25 winners were Heidi Miley, Jimmy Flynn and Oisin O'Brien. Next draw takes place 25th October with jackpot rising to €5,400.

The club are holding a race night on Bank Holiday Sunday 26th October in Leo's. Racecards are circulating with club members so if you fancy being a owner, trainer or jockey for the the night, €10 will secure your place on the card.
