An Tóchar GAA Club Notes

October 13, 2014

After 26 years our reign in Senior football ended last Saturday night at the hands of Carnew. Unfortunately we have lost too many players over the past 2 months and this game was a bridge too far.  Well done to David and Brendan who tried everything to avoid this happening and to the loyal group of players who stuck with it to the end, commiserations you owe us nothing.

The U10s and U12s played out the finish of their mini-league last Friday night in a couple of hugely entertaining games. Hopefully all these lads will be back early next year fresh and ready to go. The U-8 boys and girls had the first night of their blitz on Friday and it will finish next Friday.
The club sends its condolences to Roisin Langrell on the death of her sister Jean in England.
