St Patricks Club Notes

September 29, 2014

Get your blue and white flags and bunting out as after a fantastic weekend of results for the club all roads now lead to Aughrim on Sunday 12 October where both our minor footballers and senior footballers will be contesting the County Finals.  Well done to both teams and mentors in winning their semi finals.  Our minors defeated Blessington 8 points to 6 while our seniors prevailed over Eire Og on a scoreline of 1 10 to 1 7.  They were two great team performances and is just reward for all their hard work throughout the year.  Hopefully they will each go one step forward and bring home the cups.  Our senior and junior Ministers for Hype will be out in force decking out the town in blue and white so keep an eye out for them!

Our U14 girls represented the club in the Kilmacud 7's at the weekend and acquitted themselves very well.

Our U12 hurlers defeated Arklow Rock Parnells in the finals held at Ballinakill at the weekend so congratulations to players and managers.

Our club lotto was not won last week so the Jackpot now stands at €2,700.  Please support your club by buying a ticket.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page to keep up to date with all club fixtures and results which will also be in the Wicklow People every Wednesday.

Anybody with anything to include in the club notes please email it to [email protected] before 5pm every Sunday.
