Tesco Tokens
AGB have been chosen to take part in the Tesco Arklow Community Fund. Please collect a 'Tesco Community Fund Token' with every shop and deposit in the AGB cylinder. The AGB cylinder is currently awaiting your tokens in Tesco and will be over the next 6 weeks! Please support!
Juvenile Boys Workshop
The juvenile boys committee have organised a workshop to review this year and the plan for the next year. Venue Gael Cholaiste, Thursday 25th of September @ 7:30-8:30pm. Coaches & admins for each age group are invited along.
Clothing Recycling Drive
There will be a clothing recycling drive in aid of AGB on Saturday 27th September from 9am - 12 pm at Pearse Park, Vale Road, Arklow. Please drop off all items before 12 noon. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes also bed linen, blankets, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, belts and soft toys. Laptops, mobile phones, books are accepted. Calling all musicians, singers, actors, dancers!! Join Kathryn from September in Gaelcholáiste na Mara. All interested 6 - 17 year olds should meet from 12pm to 2pm on the 4th Sunday of each month, beginning on the 28th of September. Contact Kathryn on 086 8664931. Executive Meeting
The next meeting of the Club Executive is on Wednesday 1st October 2014 at 8pm in the GAA offices in Pearse Park.
Arklow Positive Ageing Week
Arklow Positive Ageing Week is scheduled for the 1st October - 11th October. There will be a Schools Blitz on Tuesday the 7th October as part of this week of events. For more details see: Positive Ageing Week 2014 at www.ageaction.ie.
Upcoming Coaching Courses
Wicklow are starting an Award 1 child u6-u12 Course on Sat Oct 18th in Ballinkill from 9am-4pm. Award 1 course youth/adult, U12 plus on Sat the 24th of Jan 9am-4pm. Cost covered by club. A great opportunity to learn more about coaching. Places are booking fast. Contact your Admin to book a place.
Table Quiz
AGB Table Quiz in the Old Ship on the 6th of November 2014 at 8pm. Raffle on the night with some fabulous prizes. Table of 4 is €20. Put the date in your diary now!

U12 Boys
The U12 boys played in the Mini-league Final in Ballinakill on Saturday the 20th against Annacurra. This was a very competitive game of football with neither side conceding any advantage to their opposition for much of the game. Annacurra eventually managed to take the title after a hard fought game. Well played boys and heads up as we go again Monday night.
