Lotto
Please note that our Jackpot now stands at a Whopping €9,600. Now is the time if you are not already signed up to register. Not only are you helping your club but you are in with the chance of a great win. There was no Match 4 winner of the Club Lotto on Friday, 15th August when the numbers drawn were 6, 9, 10 and 29. Kick Fada
On Saturday the All Ireland Kick Fada was held. Those that were there got to see the top GAA Kickers in the country up close. This was a year for the champions as both Men's and Ladies winners made it three in a row. Serena Hannon won the Ladies with a kick of 48 meters. Once again we got to witness Damien Sheridan unbelievably match his record kick of 75 meters again beating a tough competition from all over the country. Our special thanks to President of the GAA Liam O'Neill as well as President of the Ladies Pat Quill and the President of the Wicklow GAA Peter Keogh who opened this year's event. Speaking after the event Club Chairman Dermot O'Brien commented "I would like to thank, on behalf of the club, all the volunteers who made this day such a success. A rough estimate of numbers suggested that some 50 people gave assistance for the event. I obviously can't mention all but I would like to mention the co-ordinator of the Kick Fada, Liam McGraynor and PJ Cunningham, who acted as MC for the day. It certainly was a long day for them! There were many others who gave tirelessly such as all who organised matches and events for the various juvenile players, the catering team, the field team who organised the kicking, the set-up team who marked and set-up the pitch, the traffic management team, the organisers and those who manned the stands, all who cleaned up and dismantled the tents and props after the event. Thank you all most sincerely.
Senior Hurling
Emmet Bhré 1-11, Glenealy 0-12.
The Senior hurlers captured the Senior hurling league in a tightly contested encounter against a skillful Glenealy side on Tuesday night, 9 September. A good crowd assembled to see team Captain, Ronan O'Brien, express his respect for the opposition and receive the presentation. Comhgairdeas leo uilig.

Senior Ladies
Ladies Intermediate League Final 2014
Bray 3 - 10 Blessington 1 - 12
Bray Emmets Ladies finished off their 2014 campaign with a great win over Blessington in the Intermediate League Final on Sunday afternoon. Blessington won the toss and it ended up being a home game for them. This was the third meeting of these two teams. We drew in the first match in the Combined Cup competition in early March and they beat us by five points in the second round of the championship back in July. But this was the match that counted the most "The League Final". This was a follow up to our success in the Senior B Final and our aim to complete the DOUBLE.
30 Ladies lined out today to contest this final and it would be unfair to single out any individual for praise as every girl, those lucky enough to play, or those on the bench gave their commitment to this squad over the last year. This was a combined effort from our under 16's, minors and senior Ladies.
The praise today goes to the Manager, Coach and mentors of this squad. They could see the potential in these girls and worked hard throughout the year to keep this team together. They promised they would play their part to bring success to Bray Emmet's Ladies. So WELL DONE Paul Hunt, Ger Lenihan, Mossie Kelly, Dave Barry, Gaye Heffernan and Anne Longmore.
A big thank you to our supporters who gave great encouragement and lively comments from the side-line. Bray will now play in the Senior Competitions for 2015. Bring it on.
Junior Football
Men's Junior B football Championship Semi Final: Our Junior footballers are playing Baltinglass in the Junior B semi final, next Sunday morning at 10.30 in Blessington. The lads would appreciate your support at the game.
U14 Camogie
Emmet Bhré 4-6, Donard 2-0.
The U14 Camogie team contested the 'B' championship final against Donard, Sun 7 September. Conditions in Ballinaclash were ideal for a good game and that's exactly what we were treated to. Rachel Rice and the goal-scoring Olivia McGarry were peerless and focused from the opening seconds, while Grace Brown, Laura Butler, Jane Butler, Eimear Martin, Lauren Mc Kenna, Brona Murphy and Olivia Duffy defended and attacked with vigour. It was the hard graft done by so many players in the first-half that laid the foundations for the second-half harmony that followed. Eleanor Hayes-Carroll ignited the full-forward division taking home a personal tally of 2-2, not before Donard stunned Bray with two very well taken goals. However, a smart Tricia Phelan goal followed, with more scores from Carroll-Hayes and Leah Carroll seeing the game over the Brí Chualann line. Substitute Lauren Healy, Alannah Barry, Allie Byrne, Nicole Ryan and Doireann Downey also made note-worthy impacts on the final result. A squad of 24 travelled to Donard on Sunday however only seventeen players were allowed take part. In the earlier rounds of the championship the contributions of Alannah Henry, Erika Bellamy, Shauna Kelly, Siofra Ni Mhidigh, Sarah Lambe,Liadainn Downey, Sasha Ni Laoghaire, Shauna Ryan,and Clare Benville were all telling in the teams progression to last Sundays final. Claiming the championship wrapped up another successful season for the girls who had earlier in the year secured mid-table status in Dublin Division 3. Finally, we would like to acknowledge the help and support of all the parents and family members throughout the season.

U8 Camogie
The Under 8 Camogie team played visitors Naomh Éamann, Mount Rath, County Laois, on Sat 13th Sept during our Kick Fada. The fixture was organised thanks to the enthusiasm of Dan Phelan, one of our popular, loyal Adult hurlers who is now back living in his native Laois. The game was very evenly played out, both sides showing keen forwards and sturdy defense. Tá súil againn gur bhain Naomh Éamann taitneamh as an lá a chaith siad i bPáirc Emmet Bhré.
