Senior Notes:
All roads will lead to Aughrim next Sat when our Senior team come up against our nemesis Rathnew in the Senior Championship in Aughrim at 6.15pm. Please come out and support the lads.
Our Junior C beat Stratford in 1/4 final 5-18 to 0-01. Team - R Gilligan, J McCarty, S Denninson, P O'Connell, J Lynch, G Grogan, M O'Leary, L Brenna, C McGorman, C Miley, M Shannon, C Kenny, I Richardson, D Nolan and C Ryan. We are going to work hard for the next few weeks in the build up to the semi final.

Ladies notes:
Congratulations to the Girls U12 B Team who had a great win over Rathnew in the first round if the Championship last Thursday. Our U12A, U14 and U16 teams are all out in action this coming week in the Championship.
Gaelic For mothers & Others:
The G4M&O team will be playing in the Leinster blitz on Saturday the 30th in Kinnegad with 27 other teams from around the province. The Ladies have been training constantly since November and have upped the intensity over the last 6 weeks following their successful Blitz in Blanchardstown. We wish them all the best for the competition.
Juvenile:
Our Minors had a great win over Baltinglass in Round 5 of the league at home last Wednesday. Final score 3-15 to 4-08. Game was level at half time and Blessington came from 5 points down in the second half to win by 4 points.
North Kildare League
Our young footballers and hurlers will participate in the North Kildare League from the end of the month until mid October. Football - U9, U10,U11 and U12 teams will participate. Competitions start on 3 Sep until 21 Oct. (5 games). Hurling - U9 and U11 teams will participate. Competition starts 29 Aug until 19 Oct. U9's will play 5 games and U11 will play 6.

Club Development: Pitch advertising is going very well, if you would like a sign on the pitch fencing please contact Breda Brophy 0872253892 or John Magee Snr 086 8717483 for all the info. Our Stewards are working very hard in the pitch during the week and we thank them all, it makes things much more safer for all our children, to have the lads there and we would ask everyone to show their appreciation. If you wish to help out please contact Michael Sargent.
Lotto: Club Lotto draw took place on Tues 12th Aug. The numbers drawn were 4, 7,12,22. There was NO winner. 4 lucky people matched 3 numbers and received €75 each. Next draw is on Tues 26 Aug in Mick Reid's and the Jackpot will be €7400. All tickets must be returned by 10.30pm for draw at 11pm. Michael will be in the pitch at 7pm Tues if you wish to return to him. We thank you for your continued support returning your tickets and don't forget you can also buy tickets online at www.blessingtongaa.ie. All memberships are overdue but if you have any to hand in please give to Michael Sargent or John Magee Snr.
