Our Seniors played St Patrick's in Aughrim on Sat last and lost by one point. It was level at half time 4pts each the lads battled and put over some well earned scores and went 3 pts up, but St Pats had other things on their minds and soon levelled things up again. In the end they got the better of us and won by a point. we now play Tinahely on Fri 8th Aug, so lots to play for still. Our U8 had two teams in a county blitz in Ballinakill on Wednesday evening. We played against an Tochar, Bray Emmets, Rathnew and Eire Og. Both teams played 3 games each and we came out on top in 5 out of our 6 games but more importantly our players gave a great display of the skills they've been learning all year. On Saturday we had two teams in the Go Games hosted by Hollywood and both teams played very well and outscored their opponents. The other clubs involved were Kilbride and Valleymount. Parents are reminded to reply to the teamer text/email so we know how many are attending Go Games. When we know how many are coming we can inform the host club in time of how many teams we'll have and avoid having a lot of subs. Our U10's were out in Hollywood at Go Games on Sat last, we fielded 2 teams. Teams that took part were Lacken, Kilbride, Valleymount, Hollywood and ourselves. Well done to all the boys and girls that took part. On Monday the 21st Our U12's travelled to Roundwood to play An Tochar in the Mini Leagues. Both Teams played excellently and had a great win on a score line of 18.22 to 15.18. Well done to everyone.
