Our U12 Ladies made history last week winning their first ever competitive match by defeating Fergal Og's of Bray . Well done to all involved.

Congratulations to Darren and Michelle Coffey on the birth of their bouncing baby boy 'Cian' who was baptized last week.
A memorial mass was held last week in Ashford for the late Kevin Melia R.I.P. A Rathnew jersey and Rathnew Gaels were in attendance, in a show of respect to Kevin and the Melia family.

If you travelled all the way to a County Ground in another county, maybe a drive of 2 hours or more, you'd expect at least to be able to purchase a hot cup of tea and a sambo inside the ground . It's embarassing to say Aughrim has no such facilities in this day and age. Maybe more could be done to woo the punters.
