Wicklow stalwart Leighton Glynn has conceded that "it might be time" to draw the curtain down on his intercounty career.

The Garden County's disappointing exit from this year's championship at the hands of Sligo in Aughrim last Saturday has been made even worse by news that the Rathnew legend is considering his future:

"It might be time," he told The Wicklow People. "There won't be any rash decisions, I'll leave it for another while.

"In some ways, you jump into another season straight away with the club. We're playing Blessington on Thursday evening.

"We [Glenealy] are playing Kiltegan in the hurling then at the weekend and then the following weekend we're playing Baltinglass in the football championships.

"There's three big games already in a week. I'm just concentrating on that really."
