Best of luck to Lancashire, sounds like a talented Kerry side coming over but plenty of good footballers here as well. Anyone know what clubs most of the Lancashire players are coming from?

Mix of the top 4.

Peters, Oisins, John Mitchels and Brendans.

Although players from all the teams were asked and notified about training/games etc

Good to hear, hopefully the weather holds up and we get a big crowd down for the day.

I have seen Kerry play all their games in effect this is their 3rd or 4th in pecking order as they walked away with last year's championship only players from Junior clubs eligible Their game with Cork was probably the best game of football I've seen this year Jason Foley at full back Barry at centre back Adrian Spillane o Seanachàin in the half forward line and O SHEA in full forward line are all players on the verge of Kerry Senior panel Lancashire will have to be exceptional to beat them .... But ... remember Iceland v England or Galway v Mayo hope springs eternal !!

Only players from their junior clubs? Aren't there Templenoe players playing for Kerry Juniors at the minute?
Surely Templenoe must be Intermediate now after winning last years A-I Junior Club? So not just players from Junior clubs only then?

This is Kerry's 3rd/4th in pecking order team due to last years A-I Junior County win but 3, 6, 11 & 14 are all on the verge of the Kerry Senior panel?

Kerry to win this by 10-12 points. No doubt in my mind. Kieran Hurley and Niall O Shea in full forward line would walk onto the London senior 15...

Best wishes to Liam and all the Coynes they have done so much for GAA in Lancashire I remember Lancashire running a star studded Kerry team to a point back in the early 60s The game was played in White City and Lancashire had a Kerry All Ireland Senior medal winner on the team Fr Moss O Connell so don't be too beholden to the Kingdom boys what Iceland did to England you can do to Kerry !!

Lovely piece on the main site ahead of this game. Coynes are a great example of what the GAA over here should be about.

Well done Lancashire 3 10 would win most games A credit to all who put in so much effort It is difficult with work commitments to train and prepare but a shot at any Kerry team in any grade is always to be relished At the minute eventhough at Senior level they play 2nd fiddle to Dublin but in all other grades club and College they reign supreme So Coynes and co take a bow

Fantastic display from Lancashire as said scoring 3.10 against kerry is a great effort, kerry,s defence didn't look all that at times and i can't see them winning final against mayo.
But all credit to the battling display and lads never gave up some great scores, if they can keep this group together and add a few more players in then this group can go one better next year.

Well done to all involved yesterday, it was a great occasion and a fine game of football. Kerry were the younger and fitter side which made a big difference on such a warm day but for long spells Lancashire matched them for football.
