My AA route finder tells me thats a 160 mile round trip - Nice !
Am wondering what the thinking behind fixing that game was.

Why is london GAA dragging Fulham and Treacys from south london up to Goodmayes on a Sunday? surely that should be played in mitchm? The fixtures are a farce as usual..

With there been five games in Goodmayes at the weekend any sort of rain later on this week and them games will all be off. Hopefully I am wrong and the games will be on.

That is some trek for Anthony's. I'm sure it will be the same most weeks for Crawley and Brighton Geals.

My AA route finder tells me that Fulham to Goodmayes is a 34 mile round trip. A true hardship !

On a serious note, maybe it might be worth the Brighton lads having a chat with the county board before racking up any expsense trying to organise a home pitch for themselves. Would only be worth their while if they could get the promise of some games there.

probably the two teams furtherest apart in London, (excluding Brigton as a new team) surely a venue in West London would have suited better.

Goodmayes should be fine for 5 games, week ahead is expected to be dry, not the greatest surface but holds out better than most other pitches when there is rain.

Wide ball, there is no thinking behind these fixtures!! Of course a 34km round trip isn't as bad as 160, but it makes no sense to fix that game in essex when both those teams train on a perfectly good pitch down in mitcham every week! I doubt you'd ever see a Gabriel's-kilburn or emmetts-pearses game fixed outside NW London

Only after both teams went and got it changed. County board never asked either team if mitcham was available.
