Warwickshire 2018

(Oldest Posts First)

Start of the new season not to far away.
I see JM's making big move in the January transfer window.
Paul Garvey back in town for them, a few other new recruits from the North , could be an interesting season for them, after a couple of bad years with not much success to talk about.
With John King & Garvey back on board they would have to be championship contenders again.
Garvey would also be a good addition to Eamon Hankins squad for the county set up.
Division 2 should be an interesting affair this year with Macs ,JM's & RC's junior teams competing in there as well.
Will be interesting to see how they fare out .
Good luck to all teams for the forthcoming season .

carpenter, I don't think anyone will be signing him as I believe he has retired from competitive football, due to an illness.

Anyone know what club today's referee in the two senior semi finals, is involved with ?
Thought he done an excellent job in both games.
Could do with a few more like him in the county.
Thought the first game was absolutely brutal to watch, Mitchell's threw it away, and Casement's should have probably nicked it in the end.
Anyone know when the replay is set for ?
Presume it would be next weekend, with final set for the following week .

MayoAllStar, referee was from Manchester - not sure which club. Poor game is right. Replay this Saturday 4pm according to the website, with the Junior Champ between JM & RC afterwards.

Has Warwickshire website crashed? Only one result out of four from last Sunday. Thank God for Irish World (4 results) and Irish Post (2 results)!

No its the usual story. Results are only updated if Mitchel's have won in the preceding weekend, otherwise its rolled over. Considering the age of social media we live in, the coverage of games / results is poor..
