Who do people beleive will be a shoe in to make the team?
Many minors made a big impression in their senior teams this year?

Only got to the see 2nd half of the game yesterday. From what I seen Tyrone thoroughly deserved the win. Another talented Down Minor team flattering to deceive, played like a bunch of individuals.

With Peter McGrath in charge, I am sure nothing was left to chance but I wonder did the media play any part in Downs defeat? The papers earlier in the week were talking about how most of the Tyrone panel (bar one) is new to championship football and how Down had beaten what was a very talented team of Derry footballers. Could there have been any complacency?

Disappointing for Down seniors yesterday. I was confident at half time Down would win, there seemed to be a tiredness with some of the Donegal lads. Down made so many chances without making the conversions. If the Down lads can get their heads up, they could have a long run in the championship. Would'nt want Tyrone to face them for a while.

Great result for the minors against a decent Down team. A lot of this team are very young and the experience will really help them in years to come, consecutive Ulster Final appearances for our minors and considering that our U21s and Senior teams exited in the first round it's great to see a Tyrone team challenging for provincial honours. No doubt there will be the usual knockers queing up to slate all involved if/when they are beat but I dont see many well wishers congratulating the young lads and the management on their achievement - sadly its the society we live in where too many people focus on the negatives and look forward to getting the opportunity of crticising players and management of our teams, maybe there's plenty of people out there that think they could do better...from reading the posts on here there are a lot of people with very obvious personal agendas and not enough people who truly support our county teams.

Macauley Quinn from stewartstown should be on it and also sparky from errigal! Mickey Donnelly hasn't a clue either IMO!

Didnt have to wait too long for the inevitable...no messages of congratulations to the players or management...just a bitching session of who's mates arent on...

Well mickey donnelly made good work of a better tyrone minor team last year with his constant changes to his starting team, any wonder men have little or no faith in him.

Goals Will Come...correct me if I'm wrong here but did the minors not win the Ulster title last year? And are they not the only Tyrone team to make it past the first round of the provincial championship in men's football this year...and to go on to make it to an Ulster Final for the second year running after defeating a highly fancied Down team...maybe you're right he must be doing something very wrong..??? God help the managers of the other Tyrone teams they must be well flogged by now!

When you say men are you sure you're not talking about boys...and boys that have their nose out of joint because they didnt make the panel? And if it is men then it may be the men that are unhappy because their relations didnt make the panel...? Just a thought...

The only players i thought should have been given a chance where big decky mc cann from beragh and conor mc goldrick from fintona. both players are great fielders of the ball and both around six foot three. i feel the minors dont have that much of a physical presence in midfield and this could cost them

It's all about opinions...but my point is at the end of the day you cant complain too much when the minors are going to be lining out in consecutive provincial finals, cant be doing too much wrong?

A few shocking refereeing decisions yesterday by the man from Down...always a very poor sign of a ref when he gives everything to the team that are behind. 2 blatant dives for a free and then a penalty both rewarded by the man in the middle at crucial periods of the game. He blew up tyrone for a throw ball which resulted in a score from a free mid way through the second half and if you look at the attempted hand pass at the time of the penalty it was more like rugby.

Minors badly robbed at the end yesterday, as soft a penalty as ive ever seen.
The sending off played a big part in the turn around yesterday when tyrone were very much in control.
