Mid arent looking too bad these days. Upperchurch, Clonaulty, Moycarkey, Thurles, Templederry, Drom-Inch. They are all playing good stuff. North still has a fair few decent teams. Nenagh are always dangerous, Borrisoleigh, Toomevara, Kilruane are on the rise (i hope). Plenty of arguement for both sides.

from the talk of most north and mid boys they dont think much of the west and the south.overall i think theyre all pretty even, but there shouldnt be as many senior teams in tipp as there currntly is

I think Ballina were offered the chance to go up Senior but wanted to go up by winning an Intermediate title. It's a joke the number of senior teams in Tipp though, and there is an imbalance, Ballybacon would probably be nowhere near good enough to win an Intermediate title in North Tipp.

Just getting of the point a little, but how many of the current Tipp Senior Hurling Panel are from West Tipperary? Babs, and I certainly don't swallow everything he says maintained a few years ago (when he was managing at the time, and not very well) that there were no hurlers left in West Tipperary and that for hurling in Tipp to be strong, as it was in his day, you always had to have that 2 or 3 from the West. Now, I don't want any over-reactions to my question, as I take what the Babs says with as good a pinch of salt as anybody, but it seems the West would be the poor relation when it comes to Tipp hurling (and don't say it's because a lot of it borders Limerick, lol!)

the west wud be a poor relation alright der are only 3 real teams tat wud hold der own clonualty cappawhite and the kickams the other teams in the divison are fierce poor, the south wud not be much better in fairness

I think its simply because despite the size of the area the population is pretty sparse compared to the large towns in North, Mid and South Tipp
