Lorrha and Cahir book U21 final place
April 24, 2014At The Ragg on Monday, Lorra-Dorra advanced to the final thanks to a thrilling 3-6 to 0-13 semi-final win over Rockwell.
The winners had wind advantage in the first half and roared into a 3-4 to 0-7 interval lead with the goals coming from Daniel Smith, Dylan Bouchier and Christopher Fogarty.
Rockwell rallied in the second half but were met with stern resistance from a determined Lorra outfit.
The other semi-final went to a replay before finally being settled at Cashel on Saturday, with Cahir taking advantage of Upperchurch-Drombane's wastefulness in front of goal to prevail by 0-9 to 0-7.
