New way to improve Leitrim Football!

(Oldest Posts First)

WithLeitrim now picked as a pilot county for the new U17 competition we should also look at having an Under 20 competition instead of the rushed and and ran off with little or no interest from players, the U21 competition. By doing this we will have a competition ran at the same time as usual but with lads keen to impress as all of them will be eligible to play u21 with the county the following spring. Also time to have 4 full time coaches, where each is responsible for 6 clubs each and where they monitor what each club is doing in relation to underage player development. Each coach should only be given 2 year contracts which can be extended after a review.

Get a grip Bananaman. Your comments and suggestions are delusional as ever. The only way Leitrim can start competing is by hiring goons to intimidate surrounding counties to bend to our will. I would do this by utilising tactical airstrikes on GAA training complexes/grounds in other counties, followed by sending infantry (perhaps senior county board members?) in, to carry out a 'scorched earth' initiative, including pouring salt into the grass at these grounds, thus halting development in these counties for many years. First we take over Connacht, then Ireland, then Roscommon, then Europe, then the world.

MagnumPIG your suggestion is reliant on accurate marksmen and expensive equipment so as far fetched as my suggestions were they have more chance of seeing the light of day
