Dublin should always get the most funding. Their population is the largest, they're a dual county, there's more competition from other sports.

HOWEVER

What they've been getting the last decade or more has been ludicrously high.

HOWEVER

I'm okay with that, so long as it's not a permanent fixture. I think there needs to be a substantial cut for a good number of years because the project has been TOO successful in that it's tipped the scales too far in favour of Dublin. That's irrefutable because Leinster is now a competition on life support.

HOWEVER

If this cut does happen, it DOES need to go to Leinster counties, and other weak counties. They need it most right now. It does not need to go to Western counties - as it stands, most of the counties still in the championship are on or near the west: Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Kerry, Cork, Tyrone.

Replying To KYTitletown:  "The money should be evenly distributed not the vast majority of going to the East as the article indicates"
Quote from the article;

"We won't be neglecting any part of the country..... We have to do our best to provide the framework within which all counties can improve. Obviously, there are urban areas away from the east coast that need to be looked at too and we intend to do it," said ó Fearghail.

No mention of "vast majority" of anything going anywhere. You're the only one who said it. So maybe give up with the scaremongering.
