Didn't feel nearly as bad as that for me Whoops! They gave it their all, which is all you can really ask isn't it. They actually played some great football too yesterday but once the French goals went in I became a bit philosophical about it all. You know the usual, sure we did brilliant to get this far, they can hold their heads up high, France are one of the favorites etc etc. So wasn't hugely downbeat,. Yet this morning as I sat thinking more about what a brilliant position we were in going into the last 30 minutes, you have this sense that we really had a glorious chance to do something special and some pretty brutal defending threw it away. A day on, it feels like we might have left something huge behind us. Funny the more I think of it this Euro Championships has so many similarities to our experience in Japan in 2002.
