Great stuff from both teams absolutely nothing between them I can't wait for round 3 in four weeks time, well done Clare hard luck Waterford I'm raging the ref didn't blow it up after Kelly's free so we got another 20 minutes. Austin Glesson and Tony Kelly wow I don't think I've seen better hurlers at such a young age they are ridiculous.

Yeah the ref robbed Waterford at the end clear free for Waterford but I think they'll get their revenge in 4 weeks time.

Overall I think we deserved it. Tony Kelly is the best hurler in the country.

To play like he did after missing the majority of the league is unreal, especially operating in such a congested area.

Clare were more commited in my opinion. That said Waterford very unlucky with some important frees towards the end. GAA must look at 2 Refs on pitch in my opinion. Clare got all the luck going today. I hope Waterford get it next time.

Barrin was clearly fouled with time almost up and Deise one point ahead.The referee for whatever reason thought otherwise.If he gave the correct decision the game was over.I rarely criticise a referee but that glaring oversight has cost Waterford a second league in succession.Such decisions can break a team: and make another.I feel for Waterford,bigtime.

clondalkin, we might argue that the ref gave waterford the replay the last day in the first place.

Clare were the better team today and deserved the win. Clare errors kept giving waterford scores and they need to cut that out for the championship.

Ref did Waterford out of it definitely a free in to Waterford before he gave the foul for the Tony Kelly free. Swings in roundabouts I guess because Aaron Cunningham should have had a free but at least the ref and umpires consulted and no free was haven because they didn't see it. A very good game I thought alot closer to championship standard Curran was fantastic and words can't describe the talent that is Tony Kelly he just glides with the ball.

On a side note I thought the behaviour of Davy Fitz was a disgrace the way he spoke about Austin Glesson feigning injury was appalling a 20 year old clearly injured and is being shouting at with disgraceful language saying nothing is wrong with him. He is a passionate man but no need for it on any sporting field and I hope he apologises to him

But what a game these two teams served up.The banner are laden with quality.The way they stuck at it today when it loiked to be goung away from them speaks volumes for tgeir character.This is why i tipped them to win last years All Ireland and why ive tipped them to win this years All Ireland.We are witnessing the era of a very special team.Waterford have some special hurlers also,but i believe Clare have a few more.Time will tell,but were in for some summer lads.Congrats Clare and big comniserations to the Deise.

Much better game today and while I thought the best team won I also think the ref handed a draw to them with that last free.Then I also think the ref 'made' a draw out of it the first day.

Clare were the better team overall but nearly threw it away with poor shooting. I don't like the way they set-up the team but it is proving effective for them. Their full forward has a very difficult task. I thought the ref made some very debateable decisions against both teams but that they balanced out over the game. Had Waterford not got involved in time wasting they might have had the opportunity to get back level before the final whistle. I see some poster condemning Davy for claiming that Gleeson was feigning injury but I doubt if anybody on the line could see at that time that he was really hurt. I'm sure that Davy will apologise to him.
