I doubt Mullane was complaining about the very same ref after Waterford's quarter final win in 09 in Thurles. Barnowl94 (Galway) - Posts: 3150 - 09/05/2016 13:58:16 1853285 Link 0 |
Davy certainly does himself no favours with his carry on, but whether its TG4 or RTE they seem to have a camera focused on him throughout game seadog54 (Meath) - Posts: 2151 - 09/05/2016 14:50:43 1853300 Link 0 |

Not good enough regarding Davy Fitz and Austin Gleeson. A foul mouthed tirade was not warranted and he should be charged by the GAA. If they dare. They seem intimidated by Clare. CroiGorm (Dublin) - Posts: 1547 - 09/05/2016 17:25:17 1853380 Link 0 |
Up and down the length and breath of Dublin there are Davey Fitz types be surprised if it's any different elsewhere ,Honestly doesn't bother me , he's over the top bordering on a pantomine villan at times , but I'd rather try shutting him up on the pitch than trying to get him banned , People read far too much into coaches on the sideline , Christ J Gavin has been slagged off for being boring , damned if you do . Davy's antics along the sideline are a magnet for the cameras and the criticisms by the media and HS posters. Some posters claim that he disgrace an excellent team, but fail to give him the credit he deserves for de eloping that team. He is obviously an outstanding coach but needs to tone down his language on the line. However he seems to be an open, honest character unlike some other managers who favour snide comments to have a 'go' at refs and the achievements of their opponents neverright (Roscommon) - Posts: 1648 - 10/05/2016 12:11:12 1853548 Link 0 |
