Beating Dublin would be high on peoples agenda but better than winning an AI??? C'mon... realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8597 - 25/06/2015 12:26:16 1742490 Link 0 |
No, we beat Dublin regularly, but Sam remains elusive. Miler (Mayo) - Posts: 1015 - 25/06/2015 12:33:02 1742494 Link 0 |
I would prefer to beat a Kerry team over a Dublin team any day. Wining the AI is what players dream about since they are a child. Not beating Dublin. deadybai (Kilkenny) - Posts: 63 - 25/06/2015 12:33:51 1742496 Link 0 |

I think secretly if every culchie had to choose between one or the other they'd all pick beating the Dubs over winning SAM. ConnollyDub (Dublin) - Posts: 2007 - 25/06/2015 12:36:39 1742500 Link 0 |
What a silly question............. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 25/06/2015 12:37:10 1742501 Link 0 |
Are some dubs that insecure that they need this validation? Breffni40 (Cavan) - Posts: 12123 - 25/06/2015 12:51:22 1742513 Link 0 |
Silly question, Of course every team would like to beat Dublin when they meet, no more that beating Kerry in the championship is a little bit sweeter than beating anyone else for us. But at the end of the day nobody would take a single victory over us ahead of winning an all Ireland. AHP (Dublin) - Posts: 323 - 25/06/2015 12:52:32 1742516 Link 0 |
Sometimes this site brings back the memories of my youth.Like being in baby infants in Primary School.Although im nearly sure the conversation was a little more stimulating back then. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 25/06/2015 13:07:16 1742527 Link 0 |
Silly silly question. ..dubs won 2 out of last 19 all irelands ...same as galway +meath ...less than tyrone and a lot less than kerry??? Bigger than an all ireland only in your head curnew (Wicklow) - Posts: 449 - 25/06/2015 13:09:04 1742528 Link 0 |
The Dubs have been already beaten by anyone worth their salt gunning for the AI already. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 25/06/2015 13:11:47 1742530 Link 0 |

I see the Dubs are back proclaiming to be the standard bearers of football in the country. How will all the other counties ever achieve their great heights of success from the current reigning all ireland..sorry i mean cakewalk leinster champions. It reminds me of the old joke about the Dub with the inferiority complex. Barnowl94 (Galway) - Posts: 3150 - 25/06/2015 13:41:33 1742543 Link 0 |
Jesus it must be a slow news day, why must we endure this sort of tripe....... Richieq (Meath) - Posts: 3734 - 25/06/2015 13:48:51 1742551 Link 0 |
Some younger Dublin supporters seem to have completely bought into the media hype about how good the current Dublin team is and how long lasting the good times are going to go on. Just thinking about it, it's not that dissimilar to the attitude some of the Ulster teams had in the noughties. besidetheditch (Dublin) - Posts: 81 - 25/06/2015 13:51:49 1742553 Link 0 |
One could argue that it is as the Derry v Dublin 1993 semi final is probably more famous than the final of that year. 4KHDoneill (Derry) - Posts: 182 - 25/06/2015 13:52:06 1742555 Link 0 |
