johnwhite12, how many of the kk team from Wednesday night are underage next year, i know ye won Leinster minors in 13 and 14 and i taught that would be the backbone of your team, We have 10 of our 15 underage again next year.taught it was strange ye had a couple of senior panelists on the bench Wednesday night one of which was starting for ul in this years Fitzgibbon

Wouldn't say we're ahead of the chasing pack, whoever comes through Munster will be a serious outfit and Galway are always dangerous and this age group

This years under 21 championship has been better than anything else Ive seen this year. Great entertainment last night and again tonight and a great Munster final to look forward to. I also think that this years league was more entertaining than the senior hurling championship so far.

Sounds like it was a good game tonight in Ennis, an impressive win for Limerick. Its a good shot in the arm for hurling in the county, hasn't been a vintage year for them, but I'd imagine Limerick fans must be encouraged by this win tonight. Sounds like there was a big crowd there as well, 15k or so, not too shabby at all.

Excellent game, I thought when Clare went 4 up it was game over but in fairness to Limerick they battled back into it and showed great heart. I didnt expect them to beat Clare, but I am delighted they did!
Big chance for all 4 teams left now, but I think that performance will have brought Limerick on a ton and they will be hard beaten after that....

Great game - two fantastic teams. Some of Clare's scores were awesome. I counted 7 points we scored from winning the ball back in the Clare half, 5 of these inside their 40. Both sets of players caught the ball over their heads, plenty of big shoulders, the game had it all.

One negative from a hurling point of view, twice our defenders hauled Shane O'Donnell down and got yellow cards. Clare got frees and popped them over. This needs to be looked at in hurling, the punishment doesn't fit the crime. But it is within the current rules and we march on.

A mighty game of hurling and heart warming to see our players play hurling like this.

So what do the Wexford lads make of the Limerick challenge? Would love if Limerick get a crack of Wexford who have a great team. Im, of course, not overlooking galway, just don't know anything about them. Apart from the fact that they have half the senior attack in Flynn mannion and Whelan so they're surely a formidable outfit! Any Galway posters care to share more info? :D
