Does any of ye know what side Donegal goes into if they lose the ulster final? KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 24/06/2015 11:00:03 1741974 Link 0 |
Kingdomboy, they would go into round 4b qualifier which means they would meet Connacht champions in Q-final. TheHermit (Kerry) - Posts: 6354 - 24/06/2015 11:55:02 1742010 Link 0 |
It's a good point AthCliath but I honestly believe there is enough passion there already without looking at the route the loser is facing. I doubt if it will be on their minds before or during the game. Only after the game or the next day will that eventuality sink in. No one wants a 50/50 game in a QF, including Dublin, you'd prefer and expect to have to deal with that in a semi or a final. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8597 - 24/06/2015 12:38:00 1742049 Link 0 |

At the end of the day it would be better for each team to win but it is not the end of the road for the loser and no guaantee of anything for the winner. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 24/06/2015 14:27:24 1742124 Link 0 |
Class, and a damn hard way to win an All Ireland!! The direct route is always the clearest way forward, so lets hope we have enough in the tank to keep Cork at bay next week!!! TheHermit (Kerry) - Posts: 6354 - 24/06/2015 14:30:02 1742127 Link 0 |
I am with you woops. As Hugh Hunt says, we have not won a knock out game at senior level since 1999. The game will be good enough as nobody wants to lose. However, we will not lose too much sleep if we lose. It is not end of championship and we will both almost certainly be there. bennybunny (Cork) - Posts: 3917 - 24/06/2015 20:52:59 1742311 Link 0 |
Another cakewalk in munster for the Kerry region, another handy path to the all Ireland series for the Kingdom! DUBJOHN (Dublin) - Posts: 932 - 25/06/2015 15:33:55 1742634 Link 0 |
