The standard of punditry

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Analysis of rackard, meaghR and ring finals was a disgrace as usual. Just patronising pats on the back and a few stories about people the pundits know in the county, even asked the football pundit what he tought. Total joke as always

Spillane can only comment on whether he enjoyed the match ; be uses dramatic statements to cover up his lack of knowledge . We know the match was poor but Pat cannot tell us why . They ' worked harder and played with more intensity is hardly analysis .

I actually find the hurling pundits very good.
They are tactically aware and spend time talking about strategies that teams employ.
Theres good banter between them too every now and again.
Donal Og Cusack is a v good pundit, who can be critical of a man without being nasty about it,most of the time anyway (he did have a right go at brian gavin in fairness).

Donal Og and Dalo were first class on sunday game last week. Spillane and co should take note and actually do some research on teams that are playing
