Fabio

Why do you always write in lower case?

The Master I reply to them all the time, and they make it clear where there from, I don't understand what your getting at? Anyone who hasn't there county beside there name I don't reply to anymore unless they make it clear where there from.

what relevance has that to anybody where i am from?...it shows how interested you guys are in a proper debate...i made a very valid point which was ignored by clondalkin....do a bit more research before going on about mma fighters v boxers not that its that important anyway as both should be winning the fight in their own particular sport

Lads i had a small look at McGregors programme last night.Caught the end of it and have to say for the huge hype and crowd at the Point, the fight looked pretty rubbish and to my untrained UFC eye,his winning..ahem..punch,wouldnt knock the fluff off a cappuccino.Looked very soft, but i must admit im no expert.Nor do i want to be.Stinks of insincerity and fakeness.

Of that I am fully aware Fabio, believe me. The same goes for jimbo actually, although he tries to dress it up a bit better. The thing is, if McGregor was from mayo, Id actually be harder on him.

Fabio

Just answer the question man

In this case I have no doubt whatsoever that McGregor being a cocky Dub has a lot to do with certain people not liking him

I mean,.. you already made a similar point about geographical location making up ones mind - in relation to giving a more biased opinion on a subject

I believe you made the exact same point regarding Stephanie Roche did you not? - I believe you did.

Same point - two different threads. Dublin people only backing someone because they are from Dublin and you'd naturally back your own - thus given an inaccurate opinion on the subject.

Well all I did was put your own point back at you. I asked where you are from to determine what part of Ireland you are from...

Then all I'd have to do is point to the fact that said county wouldn't be very Capital friendly - thus providing me with evidence (based on your own logic) and in the exact same manner in which you provided your opinion, that you too are misguided just because of where you're born.

I'm just using your own logic Fabio.

So where are you from? That way I can make a similar bone headed judgement on your opinion.

_________

You accused Dublin people of backing Stephanie Roche based purely on the fact that they were Dublin people backing a Dublin woman

You did the exact same thing on this thread too...

So this geographical association when guiding ones opinion thing... you seem only too happy to use it when it suits you "MY MAN"

It certainly didn't stop you using where certain posters people were born as a way to cast doubt on the reasoning behind their own opinion on a goal, or on their opinion surrounding a MMA fighter

You see where you're going wrong.. right?

Actually Fabio, I believe they would be agreeing with me. This pack mentality thing seems to run deep with these guys. 'Together we are right, especially when we are wrong'. The worst part is, that is exactly what the UFC are banking on - buy the bs and do exactly what we want. Maybe we could get the UFC to install our water meters...

no i offered an opinion based on people who normally dont discuss soccer or anything like it all of a sudden posting about it strongly which was quite strange i found which i added i was happy to be wrong about if countered which i wasnt...people not liking mcgregor has nothing to do with being a dub from what i can see...people see the hype as fake and contrived and that he has fought nobody of note..that is all people dislike...on mcgregor him being a dub has nothing to do with not liking him in the slightest..i have nothing against dubs..what has where im from got to do with anytihng?..answer the question..it is quite clear certain posters here would have no interest in mcgregor where he not a dub is correct therefore an accurate opinion....still waiting on a response from that other weak argument which was quickly put to bed

again what has me typing in lower case got to do with anything?...discuss the points brought up instead of yet again trying to turn it into a dubs v everybody else argument which it simply is not as you will see from the numerous dub posters who have criticized him on this thread...you will see the marketing has nothing to do with him being a dub..its all about him being an irish man

But jimbo, there is clear evidence to suggest that people A) voted for roches goal because they are from the same place as her, despite there being superior goals to vote for, and B) champion McGregor (and fund the UFC) because they are from the same place as him, despite him having done nothing of note and having been clearly given soft treatment. Those were two accurate observations by Fabio. You are trying to blame him for correctly observing this behaviour. It is the equivalent of catching sepp blatter taking bribes twice, and the guy who caught him getting the blame for it... Or in other words, a complete spoof.

You accused Dublin posters of backing Stephanie Roche because she's from Dublin

Using their own geographical location against them as a way to devalue their point...

Isn't that what you are all up in a fuss about... don't like it when it's being done to you

But happy to do it yourself. Very like a certain someone

Where are you from... I'd like to avail of the said advantages that you enjoy.

strange how a basic counter to a point on mma being the toughest sport ever all of a sudden that happened to come from a dub poster by mere coincidence has now turned into a geographical argument???...no wonder so many threads here are ruined by this group mentality where people cant be remotely objective...good thing the other sports threads are less geographical in nature

Jimbo ive asked Mr Lover Man multiply times where he's from and he never gives me an answer yet the minute he wants a proper debate with me ive to give it to him? no no that's not how it works.

where im from is nothing to do with the points you are trying to put across clondalkin..you brought up a laughable argument about a sport you know very little about where boxers fought mma fighters in mma fights and that mma fighters winning proved how they were tougher yet you ignored an instance where a former ufc heavyweight champion was knocked out by a boxer?...as laughable as your argument is..at least try and put forward the facts in it.....i made accurate observations on people who dont usually post on the topics in question all of a sudden posting on them quite strongly...where im from is of no relevance to you..i dont just like somebody because they happen to be from the same place as me...i might even be a dub....if my points have no value then tell me has mcgregor being a dub got anything to do with you liking him or not yes or no?.....strange how accurate observations can get some people so upset

The Master you anger and ire at anything Dublin is unbelieveable. A Dub put up a thread a while back about a Dublin Player who had retired and you were one of the first on to suggest it should be on our county page instead of the natiooal one. Yet since then numerous posters from different counties have put up threads regarding players from their own county retiring and not once did you come on to suggest the same thing should be done. You are now focusing in Roches goal and McGregor.
Jaysus man is it that bad for you.
