Your County's Ambitions This Summer

Develop the younger players, get in an extra game through qualifiers, beat one of the provincial champions (Mayo/Dublin/Ulster) in quarters and have a good crack at the semi. If the big names like O'Sullivans, O'Se, Sheehan, Maher, Moran can step up ya never know, think it's unlikely without Cooper though to go all the way. Hope Cork do themselves justice this year!!

Catch the Dubs Cold and Win Leinster and see how we from there. If no leinster than 1/4 final appearance would be progress

Hurling: Would love to see Meath win the Christy Ring. Going fairly well so far but Kerry could be the thorn in their side

I would be thrilled with an Ulster title & a crack at Dublin at some stage.

So far so good...

NFL Div 1 title - Check

But there's a lot more to accomplish....

A lot of varying degrees of satisfaction here, certainly Dublin are confident and why not, the pedigree is there and proven, Cork believe, Tyrone & Mayo aren't certain and others just want a few wins, interesting so far.

At the start of the year I'd have said there were three main goals for the year. All of which would show continued progress yet all achievable.

1. Get promoted to Division 1.
2. Retain Ulster.
3. Win a championship game in Croke Park(would normally mean a semi)

So far so good, hopefully the other two go as well! Retaining Ulster would have been tough at the best of times but injury has made it worse. But if we can somehow get over the first hurdle I'd be confident. And as for the third, winning championship games in Croke Park have proved to be beyond us for a long time now. It's time to get that monkey off our back. We've had a couple of good wins there in league finals the last year and a bit, but it's time to transfer that to summer football. Most of our players have decent experience of it now so theres no excuses.

Minimum: League Promotion. We achieved that.

Progress: Ulster Final / reach the last Last 8 again.

Ambition: Ulster Champions. We are certainly capable, but it will be incredibly tough!

Beat Meath. Don't get hammered by Dublin. Don't get knocked out of qualifiers by a team outside Division 1.

That is all.

Win Ulster and All Ireland.
I might settle for less at the end of the season but that has to be the ambition at the start.

Retaining Ulster would be special. After going 25 years without it to get two in a row would be great.

Would like to get to and win a quarter final in croke park. The lads need to get used to winning up there

Minor All Ireland, excellent squad, if they beat Cork i think they will be the team to beat.

Seniors, If we beat Tipp we have a 50-50 for a second Munster. I don't think we currently have the hurlers to win an All Ireland. We are not far off though and 3/4 of the minor side are going to be absolutely top class seniors i have no doubt.

For the 131st year in a row we'll targeting winning the All-Ireland hurling championship :) One a more serious level, beat Limerick 1st day out and we already improve on last year. That takes us the the quarters but I think we can go further if we get a bit of luck.

Same with the footballers, as in beat Limerick. Put up a good display against Cork if we get through. Regardless of what happens in Munster it would be nice to get a good run in the qualifiers like 2 years ago.

To win the football All Ireland in emphatic fashion and give some team a mauling in September. No more nerve wracking 1 point wins.

It would be good for the younger players in the team if Tyrone could win Ulster. It would also take four games against the likes of Down, Monaghan, Cavan and Donegal so it is a big ask.

Leitrim to beat Roscommon this weekend would be a great win for us

For Cork football, we would probably hope to win a Munster title. For a team in transition, an All-Ireland would probably be a step too far.

For Cork hurling, we do need a Munster title, if only to show that progress has been made since last year, but it will not be easy with Waterford, Clare and either Tipperary or Limerick standing in their way. There are a few new players on the panel this year and a few of them may start on the team. Paudie O'Sullivan is hurling again, which is a positive.

Footballers promoted back to Division 1 and hurlers to Division 2 for the first time was an ideal start.

Hoping for another Ulster Title but realistically I'm not so sure. If we make last 4 and meet the Dubs in the semi I'll be a happy man! Also hoping to see the hurlers defend Nicky Rackard and get into Christy Ring next year

Beating Tipperary in the Munster hurling semi final, that would be the benchmark for us in a usual championship but after all the messing around with O Grady's horrible hand passing style in the league and the fallout from his departure it would have an extra edge this year. Retaining Munster would be huge and to be honest anything after that would be a bonus...Be great to see a very good minor team kick on from last year also and win the All Ireland.
I think for the footballers to be competitive and beat Tipp would make a good beginning. decent run in the qualifiers after that.
